homeschool

well
not only is moving and a new job big for a family
but add on to that homeschooling!!
the public schools are not good
and the private are too expensive
so!
here we go!!!

coop trying to wink

i was nervous thinking about homeschooling for a couple days
but now i am getting excited
i will get to have these kids all day
our own schedule
play when we want study when we want

i think it will be good for these boys to learn about each other
and learn to be patient with each other
we took a trip to look for our new home
these boys fell in love with grandpa (pops)
we're so excited to live close to family

not to mention dusty and pops are A LOT alike!

when we were on our trip
gray had some rough nights!
or, WE, had some rough nights
normally when he cries at night i let him get it out
and then he'll go back to sleep

but when you're not at home, it's hard to do that
so he ate between 2-3 times during the night
talk about it being like having a newborn!!!
it was rough!

since he's almost six months, i tried giving him some rice cereal
but of course, when you only eat about a teaspoon
it's not likely to fill you up!!!
this was my favorite
we thought for sure this hotel would have a hot tub
we were sooo cold we came back to our room and filled the tub
with hot hot water!
see the boys' cheeks!!!my stud muffin hubby :)
and the three who keep me on my toes!

I wondered if you had ever thought of homeschooling. I was homeschooled and LOVED it. I actually think that is what we will end up doing with our kiddos. Good luck with it. It's so great to be able to teach your kids and know what they are learning and who they are associatingwith when they are at such a young impressionable age!
