Bracky and I went to help Jana Banana with her baby this past weekend. It was a crazy weekend with 4 boys!!!! Bracky loved holding Tyson...

I told Brackon to put his pants on! He thought it was really funny to try to walk in "one leg"... so funny... it reminded me of the little mermaid
So, when we were up there, we noticed Brackon had a rash on his bumb, only it wasn't like a diaper rash. It was little red dots. We didn't really think anything of it. The next day, I got thinking about it and remembered that Chantel had that once and she had a yeast infection. The next day he was complaining about his mouth. He had a big sore on his tongue. When Jana went to take Tyson to the dr. for a check up, she asked her dr. what it could be and he said, Hand, Foot, & Mouth Disease (HFMD). The dr. said there wasn't anything we could do for it because it is viral, just let it run its course. Brackon was honery and wasn't sleeping well. When I finally got back on Wednesday, we decided to take him in. Sure enough, it is HFMD and there isn't anything you can do. So, poor little guy hasn't been eating very well because his mouth is full of sores. He is starting to get some blisters on his hands. He slept all night in his bed and seems to be feeling better.
The day I left Jana's house, Gabe had the flu. Hopefully the baby doesn't get HFMD or the flu for that matter. And hopefully Gabe is doing better...
I am glad to be home again. Dusty is painting his sisters house this week, and we are home and Brackon is really missing his daddy!!!

that really sucks about bracky, i feel so bad for him. poor guy. good luck with that! glad that you had fun.
Ashtyn has had that actually more than once and it is not fun. Poor little kids can't even eat when they get those sores in their mouth.
He is so cute with the little baby. Looks like he'd be a good big brother. My friend's kids had the HFMD and they were miserable. Its too bad you just have to wait it out. Poor Brack he's had it a little rough this last month or so.

My friend's 3 little boys all have HFMD too. they think they got it at that Jump On It place. Yuck, it doesnt seem fun! Hope Brackon is doing better!
