Looking through Shelley's eyes, I am sure she would want to write thank yous to EVERYONE who has helped her. She has been blessed with soo many soo many nice and thoughtful gifts. It would take a lifetime to truly thank them. I would personally like to thank those I saw who helped my sister. I know there are MANY others I won't be able to mention them all.
Jenni and Heber. They were the first ones (I believe) at Shelley's house to be there and comfort her when search and rescue was trying to locate the airplane. Heber for giving her a blessing.
Her bishop. Can I just tell you that I feel closer to my Savior because of Shelley's bishop. He is truly guided by the Spirit. He was there when the police officer came. He talked her through everything... how are you feeling? what are you feeling? etc. I was at her home when they came to dedicate her home. He gave the most amazing prayer you have ever heard. Peace. Comfort. Like Shelley said, "I didn't want his prayer to end." Me either.
Her Home Teachers. After they dedicated her home, one of her home teachers said to Mason and Chany (got down on their level)... can you feel that? that is the holy ghost. Can you feel how it tickles your tummy and makes you feel good?... so awesome. Thank you. When this happened, I just thought... this is JUST what Jordan would do. He was such a spiritual dad. A spiritual giant.
The Scouts. for coming and putting flags all around her yard.
The young man who brought a loaf of warm bread with tears in his eye.
Jordan's Family. I don't think we will ever get finished thanking them... Thanks for accepting Shell and for taking good care of her. Helping her. Birthday parties. Etc. Etc. She appreciates you more than you know.
Her Clients. What a blessing to have people come see her everyday. Thank you for ALL the dinners. All the toys for the kids. All the "talking" about Jordan. She loves all her clients.
Friends. It was comforting to me to see friends from all aspects of Shelley's life come to support her. I love the quote: "Friends are God's way of taking care of us." Friends from California, Arizona and Florida came to support Shelley and honor Jordan. A "thanks" just doesn't seem appropriate...
Countless Dinners. It was nice for us (as family) to not have to worry about feeding ALL the family that came to be with Shelley. Thank you.
Nicole. Shelley's next door neighbor. What a relief to have here there. I wouldn't even know where to start with thanking her. She has done it all, from babysitting, dinners, late night chats, crying with her. What would we do without Nicole? Thanks!
Nancy. One very impressionable note was from our dear cousin. Shelley read your note over and over again. Words of comfort. Words of Contempt. Thank you.
Wilks. Thank you for babysitting during Jordan's memorial. Thank you for all your support. Thank you for putting the memorial service in the paper. Thank you thank you.
Jordan's Mission Companion. This was a tender mercy. He came to the memorial service... Shelley had never met him... only scrapbooked his picture. Mason just held onto him. Would not let go. Mason, obviously, had never met him either. I know he could sense a part of his dad in him. I get tears just thinking about this.
I tried not to name too many names for fear I would leave someone out. A big thanks to all for ALL your support. We do appreciate you taking care of our dear Shelley.
Thank You.

Hey Linz,
I just wanted you to know that you and your family have been in my prayers and I think about you often. I hope you are doing well.
Love ya,
Heidi
P.S. I sent a card to your Mom's house, but it was returned because of the address. I didn't want to call and bug your family for the new address.
