i remember the "last" time i yelled at my mom.
i remember bud setting me straight and telling me that i DO NOT talk to my mom that way.
that i need to respect her.
and treat her kindly, etc.
(that was the only time bud ever raised his voice.)
(like mother, like son... multitasking!!!)
the other day, i opened my window just a bit to hear our neighbors yelling.
not sure what that was about
something to do with firetrucks and police cars coming twice in a week
who knows.
anyway,
a "friend" had come, and was yelling at the mom.
this young girl, 17, comes out and just went off to the "friend", "do NOT talk to my mom that way."
it brought me to tears, to think that that girl stuck up for her mom that way.
how important it is for us to treat our mom with respect, love and care.
grateful for this reminder of bud setting me straight with the way i should treat my mom.
lessons from mom. and bud.
