we had a great time in colorado for thanksgiving
here are the cousins brack got to play with
they had a great time!
i think they LOVE it!!!
you have to put a quarter in the cart
and when you return the cart, you get the quarter back
i went ahead and let brack keep the quarter
he was as happy as a lark.
afterward, we went to walmart
and the salvation army was outside ringing their bell
brack asked what he was doing
i told him they were there collecting money so they could give it to the poor
once, i explained it a couple times, he finally got it and said
i want to give them my money!
so he proudly went up put his quarter in
and then even got to ring the bell!
how generous.
how precious.
and how sweet.
we got home from town and i was working on christmas stuff
he was drawing, talking, etc.
he gave me a paper and told me to write down something for him.
so here it is:
"chantel.
listen to my story: once upon a time there was a man and a lady and they cooked some bread and then they went to sleep. then something really happened, the oven burned. they went back to sleep. some people walked by and went inside and ate the bread. they said, please make some more bread!! more and more and and more and more. so they all ate it and their tummy was really big. and then they died. but they came back to life as babies and jesus came down and fed them and fed them so they could grow. but it took them a long time to grow. the end."
