I have been deciding whether or not I should go back to school. Since I only have one child, I figured this is the time to do it. To help motivate me, I want to high jump and the only way I can do that is to take some classes. I have to be going to a University school to be able to compete. Since I can't go full-time (well, I don't want to have the time for that), I won't be able to compete for USU. Utah State has 10 locations through-out Utah where they have Centers that you can go there and watch your professor on screen, ask questions, etc. It is called Distance Education. I am planning on just taking one or two classes at a time, this way I will still have time for Dusty, Brackon, school-work, work, working-out, sleep, eating, etc.! I am thinking of going into Computer Science. This would mean starting from the bottom! I already have my Associates in Business. I want to know what everyone thinks! Continue with Business degree or start over and learn something new!?! Another motivation that really got me thinking seriously was when I looked on my account. It said my scholarship was for $3400/ year. Of course, if I don't go full-time, then I won't be able to get that much, but it will sure help!

Well, as a business guy and a computer science guy, I can say that both are incredibly rewarding. Which one you choose would really depend on what you want to do with it. What interests you about computer science?
Well, when my computer isn't working, I want to be able to fix it!!! And, I really like computers.
It won't get easier...life does not slow down...I can tell you that much. Auntie Arlene
Because you have a passion for computers I say stay with the associate and keep going!!! mom
My opinion...try to position yourself so you don't have to leave Brackon very much. These first tender years are so valuable. He needs his mama. (You're already doing a great work, as you teach and take care of him.)
That's Auntie B's opinion.
Hi Linz... Computer Science per se isn't really about fixing computers. That's monkey-wrench work you can teach yourself (and they don't really teach it in school as a degree). Computer Science is about writing software. For example, computer scientists wrote Windows and Word and Google and even this software we're using to blog right now. Computer science as a degree is a grueling science degree with lots of math and very hard work. I absolutely love it, and you may too, but that's what it is. :)
Linzy, that baby comes first. You only have one chance to raise him. Take advantage of every minute with him.
You are a great mother and I know you will decide what is best.
Love you, gma
