nerves for nothing

At about 1pm on Friday, Brack and I set out for our new journey... track. It takes about 15 min. to get there. I forgot my phone and had to run back in the house. Only to find out I already had it. Due to lights and traffic, we got there about 1:25. Found a meter parking. I think it was the last one! Got Brackon's stroller out, hit the door with my leg, and was on my way! I had butterflies. Oh crap! I gotta put some quarters in! Did that. I didn't know exactly where the meeting was, but had an idea. I saw some athletes walking into the building I needed to go into. I followed them and asked what loooked like their coach. "do you know where the track meeting is?" She looks at me like, you think you can run track with that baby in a stroller? She says a rude, "NO"... Okay! So I go ask a receptionist. She tells me where it is. I go in there, luckily it hadn't started. It is an all girl track team. When I walk in, all the girls are just starring at me. Coach K. says hi to me. I decide to go sit down with my stroller and baby! The meeting starts and Brackon is just sitting there looking around. Coach K. starts the meeting. He introduces "us" coaches. 30 seconds... at the most! What in the world was I nervous for?! That's all! I know you were all expecting something awesome and intriguing... well, so was I! Practice starts the 28th. I am the "observer" for the first little bit. Although, he is having me email him what I think the workouts should consist of, so that is interesting and fun. I will keep you posted with any new news!

Linz, I didn't know you forgot things or got nervous. They were probley staring at you because you are skinny and cute with a cute baby. Rach
