Coach Allen

Today was our first official track meet and that means I am a coach. It was so crazy. I was probably more nervous to coach than I ever was jumping. It is a completely different experience. My girl jumped 5'2". Pretty good for her first meet. She is a complete head case. During warm-ps, she didn't want to actually jump the bar, just run through. She was afraid it would mess her up!! How does a "volunteer" coach say, you need to do this! Anyways, she did pretty good. After her first jump, she missed, and I felt like I didn't even know what to say. I felt like I didn't know what to tell her to change. It was crazy. Our head coach was right there. I was really glad. He helped me help her. It was definately a good different experience.

Our house is final. We close on the 24th of this month! Yeah!!! We are so excited!! We have been planning and dreaming. I have a hard time falling asleep at night and shutting my brain off. We went to the Temple this week. I was so glad when Dusty said he had a hard time concentrating because I did too!!
