who am i?

I love this by Richard G. Scott: "We become what we want to be by consistently being what we want to become each day."

As of March 15th, we've been living in our new house! We have been trying to make it feel like home.

Homeschooling has been going tremendously well. I have thoroughly enjoyed spending all day with my kids. I can't imagine it any other way now.

Brackon is so excited to start school every morning that my morning routine has disappeared. But I'm grateful I'm not having to drag him out of the play room to make him study. I think homeschooling has been one of the best things that has happened for our family! Now, our boys get along so well and play so well together!!! Pretty much all day!! All day school was too exhausting for Brackon. Cooper constantly was getting on his nerves cuz brack was too tired to be kind, I guess. Brack loves to cook with me in the kitchen. He wants to be able to make his own meals. Here is something he made tonight.

He started as his own bread and then I told him we could make pizza bites and have it for dinner. He said no if you want to do that with your bread you can!!! Lol! But eventually he said to just put the pepperoni on top so we threw in some cheese and marinara sauce.
I'm glad I didn't let it raise in the oven with the other loaves or it would've gotten to be ginormous!!

We've been doing school in the mornings. It only takes a couple hours and we're done! Sometimes that's too long. I'm definately learning to pay attention to him and push when he's able to take a push and step back when he's overloaded! I'm going to a homeschool curriculum fair to pick out my cirriculum for next year. I'm excited! I definately feel the lord is helping to guide me with the things I've been teaching him. We've been studying from the Book of Mormon after breakfast and working in a workbook along with it. I think it helps to put things more on his level and helps me to be able to understand where's he's at more.
Cooper has had to adjust a little too with not getting all the attention all day. He's had potty accidents often, which I expected cuz of the move. so not sure if its just the move or not getting attention that's the main cause.
Gray is doing well. He is my biggest boy! I think he is now what brack was at one! Almost 20 lbs if not there already! He learned to sit up when we first got here so that's been nice. He really is a good baby. He hardly cries and is a good napper as long as I stick to my schedule.
Dusty is loving his job. He was so excited when the first farmer guy he called was excited to meet up w him. When he sold pharmaceuticals the doctors were not that receptive. So it is refreshing! His office is at home and that aspect really has been better than I anticipated. I've always heard that you want to love your job and if you love your job you'll never work a day in your life. Dusty has always had such a positive attitude that I always figured he like his job. Well, I KNOW dusty loves his job now!! I can hear it in his voice!!
I have been going to bed at night feeling so complete. I told my mom that I really can say I feel like a good mom. Sad it took homeschooling to get there but at least I'm there. I do have those moments still where I don't feel so great. But they are just moments and at the end of the day I can honestly feel good about the things I've taught my boys. And really feel like I'm teaching them and helping them to learn and be just a little better.
