this is our last family pic in eureka.
so this has been a hard move for me.
i have made a lot of friends.dusty left on friday and took the boys.
it's been just me in this quiet, empty house.
i was talking to dust on the phone one night and kept catching myself whispering.
only to remember that i was alone! :)
he took pepper and the last little puppy we weren't able to find a home for.
here they are in the front seat! :)you can't really see the boys in the back seat...
2 little boys
2 dogs
14 1/2 hours drive.
whoosh.
dusty is brave.
he didn't make it 3 hours before a car had started on fire along with the mountain
and dusty had to wait 45 minutes before he could get moving again.
he said, i changed cooper's poopy bum
let the dogs out to go to the bathroom
and just waited.
brack slept through the whole thing.not an hour later and his car starts to overheat.
he says a little prayer to help him make it to the next little city.
he was going uphill.
the thermostat was shot.
he pulls into the little "city" just a gas station and rinky dink grocery store.
there is one guy filling up with gas.
and one guy walking out.
the guy who was walking out of the grocery store happens to be a mechanic.
what are the chances?
he JUST moved to the area a week ago
he had JUST lost his job
his name was ADAM.
a saint.
he took the boys, the puppies and dusty to his house, he has 4 kids.
adam drove dusty 30 minutes into town to get a part,
JUST before the store closed for the weekend.
they drove back and put the new thermostat in with a flashlight.
the LORD does hear and answer our prayers.
aren't we grateful.
dusty made it safely, 18 hours worth of driving!
he gave the puppy to adam and his family.
and filled their gas tank.
i love that saying: "it is usually through another that the Lord meets your needs"
adam and dusty were both blessed.
how grateful i am for the tender mercies in my life.
almost moving day. answered prayers.

The Lord really does answer our prayers, but it is usually through others that he does. Are you in Utah/ Idaho for a while? If so PLEASE call me. I would love to see you.

Your a sweetheart so I know you will be making friends and feeling at home in no time, but good luck just the same! Moving is exciting, but difficult at the same time.
